Partnering with interior design studio Michaelis Boyd Associates and Conran Contracts as the project’s art consultants, we devised a collection that is both London-centric and aspirational for the iconic Battersea Power Station residential development.
Concept
Battersea Power Station is an important landmark on the London skyline, with the most recent phase of its development overseen by renowned architects Frank Gehry and Norman Foster. The artwork collection is inspired by its significant layers of history and the role the building has played in shaping London. Equally, we referenced the compelling juxtaposition between the River Thames and the building’s striking, industrial façade, including the undulating Frank Gehry ‘skin’.
