Onassis Cultural Centre, Athens, Greece
21 March 2015 – ongoing
The first global archive of sketchbooks, filled by the newest and most talented graduate artists and designers.
In partnership with the OCC, Double Decker initiated the world’s first cultural centre hosted sketchbook archive. Double Decker worked with art & design schools all over the world to find the 200 most compelling artists to take part in the project. Visitors to the exhibition enjoyed a treasure trove of contemporary visual expression, as from fine art to fashion design, the participants were free to fill their curator customised sketchbook in their own idiosyncratic style.
The expanding archive, owned and hosted by OCC, is an international platform for emerging talents and an opportunity for young artists to share their work with a wider audience. It is an on-going exhibition that acts as a significant source of inspiration for every visitor of the Cultural Centre.
