Acknowledging the Baltic Sea’s role in shaping the history of Gdańsk, INK restaurant references tattooing, one of the strongest visual tropes of a seafaring culture and suggestive of the allure and mystery of the wave-worn sailor.
A traditional-seeming inky-blue, accented by gold, flows through the Double Decker-conceived identity, complementing the warm, layered interior. Images of inked-up sailors are part of the menu’s characterful design, juxtaposing the long tradition of spirited tattoo art with the restaurant’s sharp stylings.
