Concept
Steeped in history and tradition, and rich with local craft and design, Tashkent is at a cultural and geographical intersection. Architecture, pattern, design and form were all inspirations. We drew from the region’s lavish visual culture, but with an eye to modernity – offering a contemporary take on the opulence of the Silk Road and placing present-day Tashkent as the main protagonist in our curatorial story.
